Florida

Prior to our wedding we settled in a nice lil town called Boca Raton in Florida. It is nice, because Najla (Theresa) work is only 4 minutes away from us.

She is the New General Manager for Denny's on West Palmetto Park Road, trying to give a restaurant it's good name back, training her crew how to be patient, nice and give very good service to the people, so they will come back to eat at her restaurant.

What am I doing while Theresa works? Since the papers for Immigration are still in progress, I spend my days exploring Boca Raton and spending my days relaxing on their beautiful beaches. I flew from The Netherlands my motorcycle over and driving around, I am the only one here with a Dutch motorcycle plate. (kind of special huh...lol) (not for long anymore, since we are going to put a Florida plate on it soon)

I also send this website to the Boca Raton News and they had a story in the paper about us.

Here is the story they wrote:

He was a 40-year-old stock manager for a steel company in  Holland. She was a 47-year-old Denny's manager in South Florida. And three years ago, Richard Bon and Theresa Verga met over the Internet in a chat room, where all the right connections fell into place.

Under the screen names Silver Wolf and Najla, they chatted for three hours each night, revealing their deepest emotions and aspirations to the person on the other end of the wire. A year later, they were "married" in a chat room in front of all their Internet friends.

"I was there when Silver Wolf popped the big question," said Butterfly Woman, a mutual Internet friend. "What an honor it was for me to be asked to be there."
Months before they even met face-to-face, Bon and Verga knew they wanted to be together forever, and their first in person meeting, which took place two years ago, only solidified that feeling.

"One day not long ago, I started out to visit this beautiful lady in Florida to see if we could get along as well as we did on the Internet," said Bon. "We did better then that – we fell madly in love."
Bon had bravely boarded a plane to the United States to meet his computer mate, who greeted him in the airport with a big kiss.
"I hid when he got off the plane and then I just kissed him right there in the airport," said Verga. "It was like we had known each other for 100 years."

"It was like lightning struck," agreed Bon. "Unbelievable."
After a series of visits in the United States and Europe, the couple decided it was time to tie the knot in person. They've chosen Boca Raton to make their home, and will be wed here in the middle of April.
"Boca fits in perfect with our fairy tale. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else," said Verga.

Bon looks forward to parking his motorcycle at the beach and taking beach walks with Verga. He said he blesses modern technology everyday for bringing his true love to his side.
Although both Verga and Bon said they recognize that the Internet can be a shady and sometimes dangerous place to meet a significant other, they’ve had all positive experiences.
"It's the new way of socializing," said Verga. "I know people still go to bars and places to meet, but in person-to-person contact I think you hold a lot back.

On the Internet you're able to express how you really feel about things, and if you're able to hold that relationship, it can't go anywhere but forever."
Verga and Bon both belong to a chat program called the chat palace (www.palacetools.com), where they've met and retained a number of friends for almost a decade. They've even traveled to meet some of their other friends in person, and said they are never disappointed.

"I was very lonely when I started the Internet," said Bon. "If you are honest and you respect other people, then you get very far and make many friends."
And sometimes you even meet your soul mate, said Verga.
"I used to picture the perfect man - romantic and 100 percent for me," she said. "This is the man that I found. We're totally for each other. To really be in love and feel complete about something is like a dream come true."
